So Uri has been taking people to Pripyat for 5 years...

How come Uri doesn't cancel the tour once he hears they closed the city for maintenance? He should know better after 5 years. Or is it because Uri always does this as part of the tour to ad to the excitement?

Why is only one road into Pripyat guarded? Surely they must be used to stupid tourists trying to get in.

If the mutants have been in Pripyat the whole time, how come it has never gone wrong before? Why has there never been evidence of mutants living in the buildings ever before in the last 5 years? Why would Uri only have half a tank of gas? Why risk running out of gas??

It looked like he was trying to keep his word to his customers and that's why took them inside illegally. It was his pride that made him do it.

Yeah and the second road they picked was out in the open with a small movable barrier placed in between. It was just stupid.

At this point, I am pretty sure those of us who have more than a brain cell would've recognized that this movie is a steaming pile of rancid turd.

In five years, those mutants NEVER attacked Yuri and his tourist buddies. Kinda hard to believe since apparently these mutants are masters of "stealth" (or standing in conveniently placed dark areas).

The mutants hadn't been there all along. The scientists at the end said they had recently escaped 'again', and that is why the main entrance to the village was closed.

Also, it would probably be dangerous to have that much exposure to Pripyat.

I don't know why people complain so much if you haven't bothered to watch the film properly. It is quite clearly stated that they got out.

As for half a tank of gas, do you seriously not know how much that is? When my fuel light comes on, I can easily go another 25 miles before my car would stop. Half a tank would be able to do that 13 mile trip many, many times over.
