Shameless self-promotion

Wasted some good ideas (combining Ray Wise and the artwork of Alex Pardee in a faux documentary) in what felt like an infomercial for "Adam Green inc."

Still think this guy can be good, but this one was disappointing on many levels...

I actually had no idea who he was until I read that he was an actual person in a review on the IMDB page. That said, when I found that out it actually added to the movie for me, as it was like this happened to a real person instead of just "an actor". Really liked the movie.

Yeah but then didn't the fact the Devil that is Ray Wise was playing the other part take you OUT of the movie again?

He is the killer of Laura Palmer after all...so they needed a rising unknown star to play his character really as he overbalanced the whole thing with his star power. Plus he's a great actor and that doesn't help found footage films much!

I also had no idea who Ray Wise was until after seeing this movie. Like I said, for me personally it added to the realism; but to someone who watches many more movies than I, I can see how it might have messed up the immersion.

Probably a tax write off.
