Frank Langella

I may have the timing wrong, and perhaps he still could be nominated for 2014, but I think Frank Langella should have been up for Best Actor Oscar! He played the role perfectly, at turns an old man who was fragile and fading, and then a wiley old fox with a twinkle in his eye... A perfect balance.

Wonderful film and a beautifully nuanced performance by Frank Langella. He does deserve recognition.

The film was released worldwide in 2012. It would not be eligible for Oscar contention against films of 2013.

Frank Langella was perfect, a gem of a performance. Film was released in the US in 2012, wasn't nominated. Shame.

Langella is perhaps the most underrated actor of his generation.

I just saw this film a few days after I saw his fantastic version of Dracula (1979), he really is underrated.
