I loved when Marc was describing the Rembrandt drawing to Merce. The drawing really did come alive and the woman's arm position was the very definition of a heavy bucket.
Edit: A close contender for favourite scene was Marc describing the tree that had rooted in a rock. What a beautiful image.

I agree with you completely and this
every scene is breathtakingly exaltedly beautiful beyond a shadow of a doubt as created as a labor of love much like his sculptures pay homage to God's greatest creation, a womanIndeed this has been one of my thoughts since, which is why I felt the urge to add the bit about the tree rooted in rock. I could see that scene as a photograph or cubist painting. It - and other scenes - were amazing and a labour of love from the director.

Verbal rather than visual, and very much the touch of Carrière, but I enjoyed the alternative version of the Creation story. Doesn't much of the greatest art honour women?
