One of the most under rated films I have seen for a while

I don't know what everyone is moaning about. I thought this film was great. It had great atmosphere, fantastically satisfying sound effects and great action scenes.

Obviously with every action movie there is the problem that in some way you know the main character is never going to get harmed and just kick everyones ass. However I thought the action in this movie was very well pitched it all seemed believable that someone who was really skilled could do that with a bit of luck and in the right circumstances. Even in more high profile movies than this I have found myself saying "Nah....not really, a bit far fetched" even with films and characters that I actually like. But because you know the main character can't die you just let it slide. This movie had very few really far fetched action moments and yet there is a high body count. It had a fast pace and was enjoyable.

A film like this gets 5 out of 10 and yet a film like End of Watch gets nearly 8 out of 10 and thats just a sad boring movie about two cops doing their day job. End of Watch also has some really far fetched unbelievable moments in it. If I wanted to watch cops doing their day job I would watch 'Cops' believe it or not. Boy is my finger not on the pulse these days!
