I have to ask this question because I wasn't sure ...does this movie just begin with the shot of the cab going through New York with no credits?

Thanks..the theater I saw it in had 3 previews then straight to the movie..first I thought I was watching a commercial for the Ipad 2 since there were no titles ....thought there may have ben a reel missing and if there was then maybe the cab scene was a spoiler (if it led from another scene)...

Yeah - I was a bit thrown. But since Spike financed the film on his own, he could remove some of the conventional parts of film (like showing credits in a particular fashion.) But I completely agree. I thought it was a bit like I'd skipped a chapter on the disc when I saw the opening shot.
