Such a twisted and underrated film

This film really surprised me. The plot and overall layout of the film was simple, and yet so effective and twisted. Vincent D'Onofrio did a fantastic and chilling job at portraying a depraved psycho. Next to Full Metal Jacket, I would say this was one of his best films. The entire cast was great. It's one of those films that manages to really keep your attention and wonder what's going to happen next. I've never seen a film quite like it, as far as the storyline and character development goes. My only complaint would be the ending. I wish the ending would've been a bit more climatic, at least between the 2 main characters. And I wished the ending would've clarified some loose ends in the story. But other than that, I'd say this film is a must see. Very underrated.

I think the movie drags in the middle, where D’Onofrio gets random victims and mopes about the house talking to rabbit. I also feel that D’Onofrio’s performance, the movie’s concept, and the setting = it was all too creepy and disgusting. I had an urge to shut the movie off, and I know I won’t want to rewatch it

The twist was also so farfetched and eye-rolling
