The letter ***Spoilers

I have 2 questions about Rabbit's father letter to Bob:

-when did Rabbit found it? I guess he didn't start searching the home after he killed Bob... And why would the father choose to write for such a thing, they are apparently living in the same vicinity, why write to his brother? And how did he knew his brother was a serial killer?

-If Bob was asked to kill Rabbit and his mother, why did he keeps him in the end? He says "i didn't ask for you but I will do the better of it" as it it was just fortuitously he was there.

I'm assuming the same, searching the house once he was able too. The crazy guy said he didn't use phones, maybe using letters was the only way to contact him without him freaking out or something? Or just a plot device.

It seemed like a spontaneous decision to me, like he just didn't feel like killing him and decided to use him, or maybe he had the dream of raising another kid as insane as he was. There's really no direct answer, you just have to use your imagination for a lot films like these.

Feel me?

The reason for not killing Rabbit was unclear. Bob seemed to be conflicted as to his feelings towards Rabbit. His brother hired him to kill his family, but Bob never cashed the money order.

It wasnt clear when they were found, but it seemed like the movie was going in two directions and edits made it unclear. However, after Rabbit regains consciousness in the garage to save Angie, he goes to the trunk to retreive tire iron, while the trunk was open thr camera focuses for a few seconds on the trunks contents which included abt a dozen unopened letters. Then after he kills Bob, the next shot is a bunch of opened letters.

When Bob goes back into the house to kill Angie, Rabbit tries to find something to open the door. He first tries a tool that breaks when trying to force the door then he goes back inside the cab, opens the trunk and searches it. If you look closely, he empties a bag that was kept inside the truck and that is full of letters. If you look even closely, you'll see that one of the envelopes is identical to the one that his father's new wife is holding while sitting in the stairs near the end.
