Wonder what the police actually advised Chris to do, once he had grassed up the heist plans.
And why they stopped surveillance on John, they should have arrested him before he went on the run.

If I was the producer of this miniseries, I would simply leave out the footage of Chris talking to the police. It doesn't seem to be connected to anything else.

The whole Chris talking to the police was moot!
if they included it - then they had to go further with it and put both - John and Chrus under surveillance.
But since police didn't get involved on ANY level - what was that about?
I kept expecting Chris to lead the police to the money in the end at least...
But it was pretty stupid.
After the thing happened - even if police screwed up and let it go through - they'd be watching Chris and John 24/7 for as long as it took.
Great series let down by a very crazy police plot.
Also, john's reasoning and behaviour didn't impress me at all.
is the series done for now? think it will get renewed? If so when does it start again?

One more series that started out exciting and engaging and ended with a dull thud.

shareI couldn't think of a much better way they could have ended the story. And I don't see anything convoluted in the ending at all.
I agree though that the part with Chris talking to the police were completely unconnected and ultimately unrealistic, and should have been left out. In fact by the end I had almost forgotten about that element—it's a better series without it.
