Felony Animal Abuse

I just seen about 10 minutes of this show and that is all I needed to see...
The old man looks like one of the hogs. They all give hard working ranchers a bad name.
I have been a hunter all my life but I was sickened by these sick creeps torturing the hogs when all it takes is one bullet to take one down and kill it instantly. They all lack intelligence so to them they think this is some good ole fashion fun chasing hogs, letting the dogs rip them up then with it still alive the tie it to there rig. They should all be charged with felony animal abuse!!!
As for the baloney summary claiming (The helpless ranchers from these devastating feral hogs) I have never seen a helpless rancher. Most have morals, even killing rattlesnakes instantly..These inbred's need taken off TV as it is teaching our young that it is okay to torture wild animals.

If you shoot it and kill it yourself you can process it and eat it. If you want to sell it as wild boar, it has to be killed and processed at an approved facility. I think they make their money off the sale of the meat not just killing them.

Using dogs to catch wild hogs is not illegal in Texas.
On what grounds sjould they be charged with felony animal abuse?
From what I've seen they quickly pull the dogs off the hogs when they get there.
They can't sell a ripped up hog.

We're not talking about someone's pet dog here, these hogs are vicious feral animals that kill livestock and seriously injure people. They are pests, much like an infestation of cockroaches that needs to be eradicated. They could shoot them I guess, but they actually make money off selling them live so they can be slaughtered for the meat. That's why they have to capture them alive. It's not a pretty business, and they never pretend that it is.

I'm so ugly...that's ok 'cause so are you.

Especially in warmer temperatures, once you kill an animal it starts the decay process so you need to dress it out ASAP or get it into a cooler. Keeping them alive keeps them from spoiling until they get it to the buyer or they have the time and resources to dress it properly. Also I'm sure the land owners don't want hog guts scattered around the property stinking it up and bringing in even more problems like scavengers.

The farmers are not helpless by any means but they also don't have time to spend hours and hours day after day hunting hogs. They have a farm/ranch to operate and that's more then a full time job. It's easier and more practical to hire someone.

Thats why hunters use hog traps.
Besides, it only takes about 5 mins to gut and skin a hog.

just worthless television, scripted reality like 90% of television, about as real as duck dynasty, faker than shheeeeiiittt, hog hunting has nothing to do with arts & entertainment, catching gators has nothing to do with history, counting cars has nothing to do with discovery, and mining for gold has nothing to do with animal planet, it's an absolute low point for television, humanity has never been so self absorbed, the trouble is I can't tell if it's television that's reflecting humanity's low points or if humanity is just reflecting the crap it see's on television
