Hard to believe that the director who made the excellent...

..."The Blair Witch Project" made this badly-acted borefest!

This film was almost like a Sasquatchian parody of 'Blair Witch'.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

I agree, it was almost borderline satire. He also made Lovely Molly (2011) which is another terrible Horror film. I liked Blair Witch but this guy is truly a one hit wonder.

This was much better than blair witch. Witch just had a better marketing campaigne who routinely made it seem like it was a real event instead of a gimmick.

Blair Witch sucked. It capitalized on shrewd marketing, nothing else.

Blair Witch is a great film. One of my favorites of all time. It is genuinely creepy. This movie is just okay; not great or terrible. My only two real complaints are that the characters got on my nerves and I didn't care much for the ending.

Seriously though, lightning does't strike twice.

but to kind of make a genre and then produce such a generic version of it...

It's kind of sad.

Not a bad movie but indeed a forgettable one.

This wasn't bad. It had it's moments. Too bad he didn't remember that less is more.
