I'm looking forward to seeing The Wicked. I've been waiting for a decent Witch flick for years. Does anyone remember a film titled 'Superstition'? (aka The Witch). It had its moments and the Witch scared the crap out of me as a kid but the acting is absolutely terrible, well worth a watch though!

Why give it a wide berth based on the 9.3 score? Wouldn't it make more sense to check it out and be pleasantly surprised?

9.3 from 11 users! all of them no doubt the cast and crew giving it a 10, except for one who felt guilty and "only" gave it a 9. Gimme a break

Yeah, if the movie doesn't have at-least a few thousand votes - ignore the rating! If it has a crazy high rating (IE: 9.3) with only 11 votes, then you DEFINITELY steer clear of it. A Movie with a true 9.3 will grab hundreds or thousands of voters within a day or two. I will wait for a more substantial number of voters.

I'll usually give it a chance with a few hundred votes if it has a rating from 4.0 or higher. Some movies have lower ratings and have been pretty descent movies but 11 at 9.3 is just bull shiz.

Please vote, if you do not like it, so that the mark can become real. 9.3 is just too much for it! I watched the trailer and it looks like a bad acted B movie !

Cabin In The Woods had campyness to it...but I guess that's why I love Joss Whedon! :)

This movie was shot in Detroit which should add much more fear than any stinking old witch. I'm surprised some of the cast and crew weren't hijacked during the filming.

This is just a fun movie, visually rich, appealing, engaging, great acting while light hearted. Has an aliveness that I miss in current films in spite of it's theme.

Seriously?? You are having a laugh? This was by no means the worst film I've ever seen but it's no where near worthy of "best film of the year" hype. It's very low budget, has no scares, very little gore and is of typical straight to dvd fodder. It's worth a watch if there's nothing else on and the witch is pretty cool but it's no where near a "great movie"
