Sheen is a friggin' TRAIN wreck...

Watched Anger Mgmt for the 1st time and immediately recognized how much damage this douchebag has inflicted on his poor old brain cells from his 2.5 Men days.

It's like he aged 20 years.

reply

More like 12. Hey wait....its BEEN 12 years since that show started... 😒

reply

exactly where is the wreck? in 2 years he has made 100 episodes of a sitcom that's surprisingly pretty good. but even if it wasn't the fact he and all these other people were able to produce that many in such a short time is opposite of train wreck. that's a lot of work. he hasn't been in the news much. he hasn't gone crazy on set. he's actually 12 years older than when 2 and 1/2 men started and he looks good IMO for 49. the one thing he has done since the beginning of anger management is get heavier... he was very trim when it started. that ages your face. so not sure which episode you saw. he's plumper now and that adds fullness to the face.

what exactly is the problem?

The problem?

YOU explained the problem quite succinctly, thank you.

He's a plump 50 year old guy way past his prime but he anger manages himself into relationships with hot 20-somethings in every episode.

It's just impossible to take the show seriously.

The guy will be a very geriatric 60 in ten years.

Forizzle...

I really don't see what the problem is, dude. He's an actor, so his job is to act. (just like any other job, u gotta work)
He's making big money and the show is a hit with almost 100 episodes. Maybe he's beginning to look a bit old, but he's close to 50, so u can't expect him to look ten years younger or something (he hasn't done any plastic surgery like many celebs do). So i really don't see the problem. Perhaps u don't like him (that's ur problem)
I like Charlie a lot because he's a talented actor (not because of his personal life), he has starred in so many great movies and television shows.

It's all "G" homey.

Even the manliest of men get a little man crush now and then.

It's no surprise that on a board devoted to Sheen your gonna run into some dudes bromancing the guy.

Actually he appears very sharp and alert in the latest episodes. But what spoil;s things is his pathetic and childish insistence on appearing as a BEACH BUM in shorts, simply because no-one on the productions dares tell him "no".

The tedious womanising, and the casual dressing, undermine every possible original intent of 'Anger Management', and best of all- the central premise that Sheen's character has no control over his own anger is almost entirely missing from the 100 episode run.

Sheen clearly liked being the 'boss', and traded this for a willingness to produce the 100 episodes in record time. One can only wonder what the show MIGHT have been if Sheen's ego had been kept in check, and his character on the show had been allowed to develop in some way.

Instead, at best, Anger Management has become a 'harmless' guilty pleasure for those of us who like the performers. But I would say the 'womanising' plot-lines have always been a consistent negative, because they conceptually stripped the 'lead' of his intended character definition.

You really need to go and see an eye doctor.

Sheen looks completely *beep* distraught, ravaged by years of drug and alcohol abuse. A good ten years older than he really is.

He won't be with us much longer, mark my words.

reply

his money is keeping him young as are the 20 something poon tang in real life..

In some shows he is morning after haggard.

What's wrong with wearing shorts? Lots of people in warm places wear them. It's pretty common in places like Florida, California and Hawaii. I believe his show takes place in California. He's supposed to be a pretty informal therapist, with the patients coming to his home. Nothing wrong at all with wearing shorts or being casual. It wouldn't make sense for this character to wear long pants. The character is a lot like Charlie Sheen, or his character on Two and a Half Men, so he should of course wear what's comfortable for him.

I'm from San Diego and live in Hawaii now, so I know these things. We have a good friend who's a professor in SoCal (well, many, actually) and he wears shorts year round, and almost never wears a tie. He's a Dean, in fact. My husband, who's also a dean, doesn't like shorts, but the work attire here in Hawaii for all professionals is what you would call a "Hawaiian shirt". No tie. Most of the professors wear shorts, too.

I agree that the show could have been a lot better, and you can certainly complain about his drug use or womanizing (although that's pretty much his own business), but the shorts complaint is just weird.

I've noticed his left hand eye doesn't open as much as his right eye in some episodes. What is that about.

reply

Its nothing new its just more noticeable now, I swear he squints more when he's off his head on drugs/drink.
