Can you imagine how angry these people are on this show?

Given the situations they are put in, they must be furious. I mean, some of them are even hardened prisoners... with that many people in such intense situations, some people must be enraged. But other than Lacey, since they have been in Anger Management for a while, what they learned to do was deal with their anger procedurally. So these people may still get themselves involved in intense situations, because the therapist is not trying to prevent people from dealing or focusing on their issues. What he's trying to do and concentrating his time on is preventing the easily preventable... become civilized with your anger and deal with it in such a manner and it doesn't spill out to the point where you're yelling at the barista or waiter, or sending out random vibes of intensity that prevents other people from dealing with their own issues... so the way everyone speaks and presents themselves is so leveled that it's hard to believe sometimes that they are really angry enough to be in Anger Management therapy by their expression... no, they just express themselves in a way from the therapy. But if you think of the situations, like all that philandering, for example, just let that be the main issue, and dealing with promiscuity, some of them have to be furious sometimes... but they are not yelling. So what the show is trying to get you to question in another way too, if you reverse it, is are you angry? Just because you're not raging or screaming, does that mean you are not angry?

Because of course these guys are angry... but when I think about it that way instead of their expression, imagine all them times I'm angry that I might not be in touch with that side of myself...
