Does the young lady make the right decision spoiler

At the end, Faith seems to be making a leap of faith to be with Kyle.

Is that the right thing to do? Her son will have to acclimate to a different father. Is it not better, and more ethical, to try to have a family unit with a child's real father? Or is this one of those times when a guy made a critical misstep, such as not showing up when it was really important?

I think she made the right decision. I felt like the boy's father was more interested in getting back with her than he was in being a dad. She said as much in the last scene. It became clear that Kyle never stopped loving her and though he was initially shocked that she had a son, he got over it quickly and had no problem bonding with him. And she clearly had not gotten over Kyle. I think it ended perfectly.
