The problem with Sheen is

he's been "roasted" by the media so much already, what's left to say? I can't imagine there's gonna be much shock value.

That's my main complaint with Roasts. The roasters tend to have maybe one or two jokes about the person they're supposed to be roasting and spend the majority of their time just taking shots at each other. This has happened the last couple times. At some point I usually forget who the roast is even about until they bring it back to he or she at the end of their bits.

That being said, I actually did have something of a laugh riot last night. But the roasters definitely could have been chosen a bit better. They all just sort of poked more fun at the media thinking Charlie is insane, which I can't blame them, the Jon Lovits joke killed me xD "He MUST be Nuts!"

Sheen's whole thing has always been about how literal the media will take things actors say when they speak out of terms. At this point every word he said was being taken so out of context that he could have joked "I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again," and the media would have exploded thinking he was making jokes about suicide or some *beep*

This is just what actors sound like when they no longer give a *beep* about signing non-disclosure contracts about keeping them shut-up about speaking their minds and in many cases, the truth. Everything he said was just a rant of being fed up with the fakeness and *beep* of the life of a Hollywood actor. Beyond that, all the "warlock" "tiger blood" stuff was just proof that joking or exaggerating can be taken so out of context. At one point in one of his interviews he even outright says "you people take everything so literal."

Though I must admit, if I were on trial and asked "do you believe Charlie Sheen ever shot up tiger blood into his own veins?" ... There's a chance. xD

The montage at the beginning of the roast actually made me realize how much of a Sheen fan I am. I loved his movies growing up.
