Pointless, but not terrible

The Angry Birds Movie is a busy, boisterous and loud film, but there’s some genuine, if mostly unearned, potential. At the very least, it shows a lot of promise for the ill-fated genre, with more plushy, peppy entertainment value than you might expect from this property.
