Agreed, it has some great lessons in there.
shareNot sure about that. When I was a kid, I found Animal Farm to be disturbing from beginning to end (both the book and the animated feature). The Angry Birds movie was funny, and my kids (ages 5 and 7) were laughing throughout. Yeah, I *got* some of the parallels to the migrant crisis we are seeing. But that message (if you want to call it that) was not so blatant as to hinder enjoying the movie.

It is a critiqe of american imperialism.
The pigs are openly culturally american, as evidenced by all the junk in their ship and their stupid cowboy show. And of course by being fatasses.
They are also not immigrating. They invade a peaceful island nation, pretend to come in peace, steal their resources, then leave after smashing everything.
Uhm, then why are the pigs green like the color of Islam, have Muslim beards, not to mention that pigs is extremely taboo in Islam. The culturally American stuff is a ruse to get people to accept them. And you do realize it's not the white Americans that are the evil genocidal maniacs through history? It was actually the Jews who pulled the strings, and Jews exclusively set up the slave trade.
