5/10. Here's why / Esta es la razón:
If someone told you that ANGRY BIRDS is a violent game, you would say "What are you talking about? It's not realistic at all. We're not meant to take it seriously", right? That defense is also the main flaw of THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE: Seeing birds use themselves as kamikazes to destroy the places where evil pigs live is... well, silly. It only works when you don't see them as living beings, which is what happens when you turn them into characters of a story (what a relief that, unlike the game, the movie clarifies that no character ever dies). And even if it was a good idea for a movie, this one doesn't utilize it well. It takes an hour for the birds to start doing that... and it only lasts 10 minutes. The beginning showed a lot of potential. There was a certain edginess in RED (the protagonist)'s humour. Too bad that it doesn't last. It's clear early on that, by the end, he will become a better person and everyone will love him. Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader's performances are good. Josh Gad tries, but his character CHUCK is annoying (and not in the funny way he's meant to be). I could tell that the animators worked very hard, while the script writers didn't. I mean, the pigs don't even have a good motivation and the humour reminds me of the hours I spent aiming the slingshot because of how hit-or-miss it is.

Si alguien les dijera que ANGRY BIRDS es un juego violento, dirían «¿De qué hablas? No es para nada realista. No se supone que lo tomemos en serio», ¿verdad? Esa defensa es la falla principal de ANGRY BIRDS: LA PELÍCULA: Ver pájaros usarse a si mismos como kamikazes para destruir los lugares en donde viven cerdos es... bueno, bobo. Solo funciona cuando no se les ve como seres vivientes, que es lo que pasa cuando los convierten en personajes de una historia (que alivio, a diferencia del juego, la película aclara que ningún personaje muere nunca). Y aun si fuera una buena idea para una película, esta no la utiliza bien. Pasa una hora antes que los pájaros empiecen a hacer eso... y solo dura 10 minutos. El comienzo mostró mucho potencial. Había un cierto atrevimiento en el humor de RED (el protagonista). Qué mal que no dura. Queda claro desde antes que, para el final, él se convertirá en una mejor persona y todos lo querrán. Las actuaciones de Jason Sudeikis y Bill Hader son buenas. Josh Gad trata, pero su personaje CHUCK es irritante (y no en el modo chistoso que se supone que sea). Pude notar que los animadores trabajaron muy duro, mientras que los guionistas no. O sea, los cerdos ni siquiera tienen una buena motivación y el humor me recuerda a las horas que pasé apuntando honda porque a veces da en el blanco y otras veces no.
