For the love of god, keep Bill Paxton off a horse!!!

While he wasn't the only one completely unable to ride a horse properly, I think he was the worst. Those poor horse's mouths must be completely ruined by these actors sawing on the reins like they do! Keep these actors off horses if they can't ride for *beep* sake :(

Canada. Full of beavers.

actually paxton knows how to ride a horse. he rode one before in frank and jesse

This does not make him a rider- It makes him an actor. You you know anything about riding a horse you can tell he is pretty clueless on top of one.

reply

Yeah, I just saw that. Poor horse!

reply

Yes, movies are rough on horses. Valid point.

Paxton aint much of an actor either. I hope he was better in this than in most of his stuff I have seen so far.

The truth is spoken here.

Yes, the horsemanship in film period, is atrocious. All the snatching, jerking, yee hawing and what drives my husband mad is the casual loping along while the music, body language and storyline is indicating a wild run.

It does seem, if riding is an integral part of the film, lessons and skill would be of some importance.

reply

I love him as an actor but I felt sorry for his horse.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
