Are there really Austenlands?

This would be a great place to go if such a place really exists?

reply

I have never heard of a real one, though it would be a fun place to go, I would love it if it was real.

The Governors House in Hyde Park does something similar - they have Austen weekends but it's not like the "full experience" that you get in Austenland.

Which version would you prefer? Mrs. Wattlesbrook's or Elizabeth Charming's rebooted theme park?šŸ

reply

It's a brilliant concept. I wouldn't be able to afford Mrs. Wattlesbrooke's and I'm really more of a casual fan, so Charming's theme park for me.

reply

Definitely Charmingā€™s!

There sort of was, briefly, for a reality show that was part of the series that included: 1940s House, Edwardian Country House, etc. It was called The Regency House Party.
