Deleted scene?

There's a promotional still from Excision (found here: http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/59574/excision-new-stills-and-official-blu-ray-dvd-art) that shows Pauline wearing a white dress. She is sitting in a chair and in her hands are some intestines coming out of two men who are kneeling down in front of her. I just finished watching Excision for the first time on Blu-ray and I was a little disappointed that this scene was no where to be found. I also really loved the movie poster for Excision (have a framed one) and it also shows Pauline in a white dress, sitting in a chair.

Does anybody know anything about this scene? Can anybody confirm if this scene was in the film during its theatrical run or not? Why would they delete this scene in first place? I find it a little bothersome that they would use a deleted scene to promote the film (not to say it hasn't happened before). Even just putting any deleted scenes on the Blu-ray would have been nice.

I still really enjoyed the film regardless of not being able to watch this scene and I already plan on watching it again soon.

Honestly, it doesn't look like a deleted scene so much as it looks like a promotional image photo shoot for the cover/dvd.

I saw a DVD cover that was very similar, minus the 2 men. But if it was a deleted scene, I think they may have got to the point of "overload" with the dream sequences seeing as how that image would just have been a dream any way.

Thanks for the info. I saw this photo in Fangoria magazine, and I wondered if I had dozed off and missed a scene or something.

I highly doubt it was a deleted scene. The image is probably supposed to evoke that of Elizabeth Bathory.
