This movie reminds me of Donnie Darko. It has that darkish feel and what ever attitude going on with the lead character. She is a very interesting but disturbed character. I didn't think I'd like this movie much and thought it was all about killing and being crazy. You will get a bit of a surprise toward the end. Like a "Whoa" moment. Ignore the comedy mentioned in the genre because there was only a few slight laughs. Nothing I would call comedy. More like dark comedy. I really enjoyed the movie, there was good acting and the lead character kept me interested the whole way.

You summed up my view as well. I didn't expect to like it but found myself unable to stop watching it. It was weird and also eccentric to a fault but at the end of the day they pulled it off.
