AnnaLynne McCord gave a phenomenal performance,but I have been a fan of Traci Lords in mainstream films for a long time now and I felt so proud of the performance she gave in this film. Her hard work and determination can be seen in this film and I think its her best performance to date. The dynamic between their two characters made this movie exceptional.

That brings up a question raven, you said you have been a fan of Traci's straight work. Prior to watching Excision I've never seen a straight Traci movie. So my question to you is - was she always this good??? I was amazed at how good she was in Excision. May inspire me to start checking out some of her mainstream films

shareWHo knows Arcadia. What I believe, based on Tracis performance in this film, is that she is a competent enough actress to handle pretty much anything that would come her way. Sadly, maybe due to her sordid past, she wont get a chance to be in something big.
shareShe turned down Blade II. I think she's afraid to play in anything not connected with John Waters and her other flattering good for nothing friends. She wants the money, but not the risk or the extra hard work. I don't believe she's ever decided herself about which film is a good project. She's just interested in making money, her husband and her son.

Going back to the early 90s I recall "Cry Baby" - thats about it. YOu seem to think its her not willing to take any chances - but is it possible nothing of relevance is being offered to her??? Again, I really don't know as i haven't followed her straight career. I maintain the same position though in that based on her performance in Excision - Traci Lords is a competent actress.
