Hello, all.

I'm just catching up with this series "on demand." Always been interested in Bette and Joan.

Can someone give me some background on "Mamacita?" She's a rather odd character, and I don't recall any such person depicted in "Mommie Dearest." Although, that movie didn't dwell on the "Baby Jane" years, as far as I can recall.

In "Dearest," I think Joan has the same housekeeper/companion right up to the end. So, when did "Mamacita" arrive on the scene?

I thought it was funny when Joan alluded to an event in 1937 and Mamacita said "Venn Hitler took Austria?".
