Throughout episode 4 Trixie looked rather big in most shots. I wondered if she was pregnant. Then we find out she’s gone for the rest of the season.
Turns out actress Helen George was indeed pregnant when the season was filming last summer and only filmed 4 episodes, which took her to her 8th month. She gave birth last September, when the season was finishing up.
I've been catching up on the show, now watching series 6. I started at the beginning again since I was at least three seasons behind. How did I miss this? I usually notice things like this.
sharePlus most of her shots were close-ups of her, not full body. And the full-body ones were usually her in coats..but there was a scene in the beginning where she was sitting down, and she looked 'big'. Also even in the close-ups, her face was much rounder.
