Is she gone? Will she be back? I was v worried when they went off to South Africa that they'd use it as an excuse to leave someone behind.

Why would she be gone? My thinking she will continue to advocate for the young women and break down the old ways of doing things.

She absolutely returns. She stayed in Africa to help the sick doctor, but will be back.

They said they have "borrowed her for a couple of months".

I think it is very convenient, a couple of months would be about 2 episodes. I find it very convenient that she isn't there to see the atrocity of Sister Ursula. Cause we know that Trixie wouldn't put up with her strong arm tactics. To assist with the story I bet Trixie will return when she has left or the situation is resolved.

Okay! Sorry . Call The Midwife new season starts on April 2, in the U.S.
The last I saw was the Christmas special in Africa.

I do like Trixie. When I first started watching I had a hard time warming up to her,now she's one of my favorites.
