After reading the user reviews, I was a bit skeptical about this movie. Gave it a shot anyway. I have to say, it is WAAAY better than Twilight. Definitely worth watching.
shareI've just watched it and I enjoyed it too. There were a few times that I cringed a little and some events were pretty inevitable from the start, but altogether, not bad at all. I'll be honest, I watched it because Andrew Lee Potts is in it so I'm bound to be a little biased, but I still think it's a worth a watch.
shareas a romanian watching this film in which action is supposed to be taking place in romani ... it's very cringy ... the Prison scene where on the writing board in the back wrote in a column "orez, carnat(or w/e), paine, fasole ... that was a *beep* thing to add in the film. I think the producer was thinking of ways to make it feel as if it was "romania" and just googled some romanian words for food and just added them randomly in a scene.
And the "Konstantin Kovak" name ... that isn't even remotely romanian. If whoever dumbass was in charge of research for this film (though I doubt there was any research team...or guy) they would've known that the Romanian names don't use (for the 99% of usual names) the consonant "k" but "c" ...
I liked it as well. Obviously it isn't going to win any positive awards but it wasn't meant to. Decent acting, decent story line, decent scenery, decent automobiles (LOL for some reason I really liked their car/SUV. Nothing too horrible. I'm not giving it 5 stars but I won't say it's not worth watching either! If you can catch it, I say give it a try.

shareIf Twilight didn't exist this would still be a decent film. The story and acting is surprisingly good. The only bad things were the special effects and the vampire makeup that looked worse as the movie went on. But what they did with the eyes was really good.
