Aubrey said that their goal was to get back to the finals, and as it turned out, she was correct. Once they disqualified the high school singer, the Bellas did move on to the finals.

You could argue that the only reason they got there was because Becca did her "dick move" by singing Bulletproof along with Signs. But that move also messed them up, so that is at least debateable. They did get back to the finals by essentially doing their old act.
