i haven't watched star wars yet and no i wasn't living under a rock
it's just not my genre , and finally when i decided to see it
they spoil what i heard is one of the biggest movie revelations in history

shareBy that logic, no one can ever discuss any movie no matter how old because people who haven't been born yet haven't seen it. Vader being Luke's father was revealed in a film over 30 years ago.
The real problem is Becca's insight is 100% wrong. First of all the language is actually Dutch and not pronounced the same. Second it wasn't until several drafts into writing The Empire Strikes back that the plot point was added. Earlier drafts had Luke's father as a Force Ghost. Therefore Darth Vader was named years before anyone had the idea to make him anyone's father.
Seriously? I've NEVER seen Star Wars or Star Trek,yet I knew about that, and a ton of other references.
