Makes me proud to be British
I grew up on this stuff - and actually watched Life of Brian for the first time in the shadows at the back of the living room when my Dad got it on VHS (that's a video cassette tape kids!!). First time I'd seen a man's, or woman's for that matter, genitalia on the TV. I *beep* out loud and got caught and packed straight off to bed! Dad let me watch the rest of it when Mum was out. It was life-changing.
Uncanny and genius looky-likey cast. Shame John Cleese didn't like it. We need more like this! I'm going to have to keep a closer eye on BBC4.
It's too cerebral! We're trying to make a movie here, not a film!
