Dana's Dog

I know Dana's dog is "special," but talk about exploitation! She started making him "America's Dog" the minute she took him home. She said it enough times that no one (except Dana) knew it would actually stick. Endless comments and photos. She literally made him into a money-making machine. Then there was the book.
Now Dana has that stupid mutt in a film! Obviously she has way too much free time and is pushing her cash cow 24/7. One tweet got it right: Dana, you need some help!

I am the biggest dog-lover in the world, but her "love" of her dog is over-the-top, really. She fits right into the world of politics, because she knows how to promote a little puppy into being a super-star. Nothing outstanding about the dog itself; it is all the story she has created. Every dog does the cute things he does; not all dog owners do their dog what she does, and that is what has made him famous.

She has pushed this narrative down the throats of viewers of The Five and now she has a cash dog. Jealous, me? Sure. If I had the platform and the hubris to dress up a dog and the other things she has done, I could be set for life. Ms. Perino, you showed us all how to make a pet dog into an IRA.

I guess, good for her that she had an idea to make tons of money from her little puppy and saw it through. Wouldn't it be nice if she were to be as persistent about some cause that needs such a spokeswoman with such stamina (other than George Bush). KG does more in one half-hour for real causes and for people in general than Dana has done in countless hours grooming and spoiling her idiot dog.

The dog is not the star; Dana is. This is her one way of guaranteeing herself attention. But now that her dear JEB won't be going to the White House, I guess she does need a therapy dog. Oh, oh, that's what Jasper is -- a therapy dog! Forget everything I just wrote.

Yes! Somebody else who can't stand Jasper (and Dana)! When Bob was still on the show, I'd always cheer when he complained about Jasper being mentioned. Too bad my cheering days are over.
