Safe Location (Spoilers)

The movie was ok, but the bad guys choosing to locate the safe exactly under the opening of a sewer tunnel is just ridiculous. Especially when they took all the trouble to guard it well with security alarms, no windows and what not!

Also, I'm assuming British pound notes are made of asbestos since they apparently can withstand the 3100º C temperature of a welding torch. (This unusual torch also seems to work underwater, pretty fancy kit for a working-class man.)

An under water welder isnt that expensive, not when you know youre gonna get a few grand back after the job, saying that there were a few scenes where one of them was selling dodgy gear out of the back of his car so i assume he knows the kind of people who could get him a dodgy welder for a fraction of the price.

I guess it was just a coincidence that the safe was over the drain. Even if the safe gets flames inside, they won't burn for very long - oxygen will soon run out. In the UK partially burnt notes are still valid.

Much as I like the film, I thought that was pretty incongruous too, with Harvey supposedly working out all the technicalities supposedly from a mug of spilt tea. 🐭
