Thor: How to Fix “The Dark World"; What Went Wrong with the Franchise Before Ragnarok

I enjoyed this stupid movie the way it was made!

I didn't think it was a good movie or anything, but I liked it anyway. It was fun.

The Dark World is my favorite movie of the MCU and I really don't understand why most people rank it so low. Epic story, introduction to another of the stones, action, effects, acting, sets, costumes. After seeing it the first time my impression was "this is a better Star Wars movie than Star Wars".

I guess it wasn't crammed full of enough jokes and nonsequitirs for ADD millenial moviegoers. Hence Ragnarok.

The franchise went wrong with Ragnarok IMO. "You got your GoG in my Thor." In typical Disney fashion they stumbled on a formula that worked so of course from then on everything had to follow it. Topping off my disgust was the fact they literally lampooned the 2nd movie in the 3rd.
