Anomaly was inspired by Animatrix short

Was watching this for the first time in a while and the point where they find the anomaly early on with Jane and the kids, stuff going on w/ gravity and dissappearing felt really familiar.
Then I remembered one of the shorts in the Animatrix was setup in a very similar fashion. It was almost like an urban space version of a haunted house. It was downtown in an abandoned industrial area, there where kids just like in Dark World, they had found it first when the heroine discovers the kids and the weird stuff. They had both the gravity warping and disappearing. Of course in the Animatrix skit it's root was a glitch in the code of the Matrix not dark elves, but the whole setup was very similar.
