Such A Really Good Film
True movie fans give this super sequel its due.
Good films can achieve balance and hit many notes. Marvel clearly did it with Iron Man 3 and maybe has done it better with Thor 2. Quality writing should make you draw on all of your emotions. That's why Marvel films usually have great word of mouth and the last two have crossed the billion dollar mark. They DO tell a good story but they don't need to do so in a totally grim fashion. Frankly, limited intellects think that all dark equates to a good story. To me, a film that delivers action, heartfelt emotion, humor, drama and intensity will always top one note movies.
That's why this film is still respected and loved by true cinema fans. It's well balanced and fits the narrative left by the wonderful first film.
