See "Son of Rambow" (sic)

As a stand-alone film, (not comparing to the book) I thought this was a good film for children, much like "Son of Rambow". For my two boys, ages 10 and 12, it captured their imaginations and for my wife and I the cinematography and subtle humor ( not the obvious such as when the security officer looks through the window, but more of the telephone cord reel) kept us engaged.

Both films had elements of childhood imagination yet adult themes which allowed us all to enjoy these films both individually and collectively.
