Tai Chi is new-age hippy crap. Who mutated it?

It sounds like you have no clue what Tai Chi really is. Tai Chi or Tai Chi Chuan (Supreme Ultimate Fist)is an ancient Chinese Martial Art. Yeh, those slow movements you see have martial applications. The Characters in this film, Master Chen and Yang, are based on real people and Chen village exists. It was the new age hippy westerners who are the ones who mutated it into the crap you think it is.

Are you saying that the Chinese created acupuncture, herbal medicine, foot massage and martial arts JUST for the consumption of the New Age Hippy market?

The abuse of CGI makes these martial art movies bad. Cannot watch :(

You are tripping, this isn't suppose to be a realistic movie, CGI is great when done right and in this case, it was.
