kung fu + steampunk = win

i loved the weird comic book thing where the characters are introduced with graphics and the story is linked with animations. really helped me identify the tone of the film.... helped me not get confused about how much of a comedy / drama it was supposed to actually be.

in some scenes, i almost felt like it was a miyazaki movie filmed in live action. the mechanical thing is really the best.

it almost reminds me of a marvel superhero film...


but in summation... it is just a good fun story with a mix of a lot of nice elements done well. in my opinion.
