I THOUGHT IT WASNT THAT BAD I THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD, IT WAS A LAUGH RIOT, FROM AKSHAYS FACE EXPRESSIONS TO THE DIALOGUE IT WAS HILARIOUS. THIS MOVIE HAS NO LOGIC BUT IT DOESNT MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUVE JUST WATCHED A CHEAP DUMB MOVIE IT LEAVES YOU WITH A SMILE. COMEDY MOVIES ONLY TRY TO DO ONE THING MAE U LAUGH SOMETIMES THEY CHOOSE TO USE A SMART OR NORMAL APPROROACH OR LIKE SAJID GO CRAZY AND NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF HIM AND MAKE AN ENTERTAINING MOVIE.

I WILL ADMIT SOME PEOPLE ARE A BIT CRAZY SAYING ITS THE BEST BOLLY COMEDY AND BEST MOVIE THIS YEAR.

OK so some people are going bit crazy and are on the verge of insulting AKKI SO DONT OR I WILL FIND U AND TORTURE U. (literally) :)

THIS IS MY NEW OPINION( hope u like it :)

The movie is ok . Its funny but it is strictly ok the movie has excruciationly painful moments though I liked it , cause it entertained me and made me laugh. ONLY AKKI, JOHNY LEVER AND A BIT OF CHUNKEY MADE ME LAUGH. JOHN WAS CRAP HE OVERACTED TOO MUCH EXPECTED BETTER ESPECIALLY WITH HIS PERFORMANCES IN DESI BOYZ AND FORCE, THE REST WERE OK.

THOUGHT THE FIRST ONE WASNT AS STUPID AND THE FIRST WAS BETTER. WHY WAS THERE SO MUCH HATE FOR THE FIRST ONE? I THOUGHT IT WAS HILARIOUS.

agree, dialogues were awesome if not great. To dumb fools calling this dumb, then why you watch illogical films like transporters, Hangover (that tiger coming out of nowhere in the bathroom, where is the logic) scary movies. This movie was made keeping every age groups in mind, was not made for artistic purpose, it was made so everyone could understand and feel entertained.

was expecting boman to add to crazyness of the movie, and John disappointed a little bit.
If you are going to theater to just relax, then try this movie for sure. Also make sure that you watch in a theater where sound quality is good, else 'Papa toh' may not be that good.

9/10 for this movie

'Papa toh' and 'Anarkali' simply blew the roof off!!

He Rocked as usual. His one liners and expression had the audience in splits. Audience were going bonkers over 'Ehhh' and 'kyun thaq raha hai' :)
If you like Akshay, then you can watch it with him only...you won't get bored at all

Nothing is wrong with the movie .. Its gre8 fun to watch ..full paisa vasoool

but the prblm is ppl like to do negative publicity ..also i have seen there are soooooooo many Sajid khan haters ..

well all i can say is those you call Sajid and idiot .. well you have not achieved even 1% what he has .. he has directed 3 films all are hit (housefull 2 will be superhit for sure ) so go get a life losers

Laugh Riot? wat was there to laugh about?did someone tickle you while watching this? Usually its Priyadarshan that makes such kinds of comedies but Sajid seems to have taken it a step further..Totally mindless...

do people keep crocodiles and snakes in their houses without taking proper care..the crocodile skit was ok..but the snake one? 2-3 minutes watching a rubber snake and john abraham running around ? that was pure crap...
[i can keep dissecting each such skit,but for the moment im not]

In between the movie , i was wondering how Sajid even wrote it? did he even HAVE a script?
unnecessary confusing storyline, over the top slapstick comedy,garbage acting [out of all the 12 ,Akshay was waste...the rest was worse than him]..

Comedy movies SHOULD use smart approaches....or atleast try to do so...
DO you know why Sajid makes such movies?--- He knows there are idiots who are willing to spend cash on garbage movies...

don't try find logic and if you still want to there are many movies you can watch out for .. Sajid always says his movies are for entertainment .. keep ur brain at home ..have a good 2-2:30 hrs laugh n go home

Wow!! It amazes me to what extent people can go to defend their idiocy. If you have so much fun throwing away your money then why don't you donate everything to the Sajid Khan idiot trust fund by buying all his "Houseful" tickets? That will save a lot of other people the misery and frustration of sitting through this torture.

Also Dumb & Dumber was original and way beyond all the rehashed thrash that Sajid Khan serves to idiots like you.

That has nothing to do with dumb and dumber, its a film based on mistaken identity, it was funny, hollywood also come with these kind of film in their cultural style. People want to be entertained, and that what it offers.

This board isnt just for fans of Sajid or Akki.....People come here to share their experiences on watching movies....Some come here to see the reaction of the people,whether they liked the movie or not...You yourself can go around and comment on movies you didnt like...No restrictions,but telling someone to just F.O as if you own this board isnt polite ...

Housefull 2 is strictly avoidable ! All those favorable reviews you see on youtube and IMDb are a scam by Sajid Khan.Yar I don't know what has happened to Indian Cinema,I feel like I am only sane person who hates movies like these !
I watched it yesterday and now I regret myself.
And yes,the first Housefull was hilarious,but this sequel is GARBAGE !
(I see how Sajid Khan has paid common people to write favorable reviews on imdb,haha its kind of funny)
Fortunately,I read your review and felt like I'm not the only sane person here.

I dont know why i like this movie it might just be akshay he is frikin awesome and the way he said kinky in the movie cracked me up. I dont know whats wrong with sajid coming up with a stupid story like this just for an excuse to entertain, but in hey babyy and housefull the story was decent and and felt a little more realistic and in this i think there is less humour and its a bit of a bore. because of akki the movie was ok. I DONT KNOW WHY I LIKE IT BUT IT ENTERTAINED ME

I DONT KNOW WHY I LIKED IT. But it entertained me and I laughed out loud at some parts and the part where akki says kinky cracked me up. There's nothing wrong with me and iv seen 21 jump street and American reunion yeah there way, way funnier but there for adults this is one of the Movies where grown ups and kids crack up, i haven't seen a lot of Movies like that. I thought because of akki the movie was watchable but yeah I agree wit U on many points it super stupid movie and will be a hit but some of the Indian audience is weird so? Not to offend any one but some are you know bodyguard being a super hit being my point. I was watching Don 2 and it was a pirated one and the audience were laughing at things that didn't even make me smile sooo.....

What I loved about this movie is akki was not doing mr bean type comedy where he plays a loser lol but more of a smart, cool and handsome, funny and macho character which reminded me of his characters in hera pheri, MSK, Deewana Huye Pagal etc, which is far more enjoyable. Also the comedy was a lot more in hindi than english which made it even better, it appeals to single screens.

Does a tiger appear in your bathroom out of the blue moon that happened in hangover? No, but do people question the logic behind these scenes, no, because its a hollywood film.

the tiger scene is well explained.....the tiger was mike tyson's pet...and on a drunken night those 3 stole the tiger and led it up to their room whatever...thats hollywood,it may sound unbelievable but it actually could take place...[another thing to remember is that the tiger was a pet in the firs place,so its sort of tame]

as for in india,how do explain 2 animal protestors taking in wild & dangerous circus animals and keeping them in their house? the snake was kept in an open cage in the LIVING room !! i know its just an over the top gag,but watching the snake bite john and shreyas & they too running around the house was sooo dumb,i wondered if sajid even had a sense of humour...

lol who has a tiger as pet, stop justifying the illogical scenes in hangover, lot of the scenes in houseful is also explain, the mistaken identity. If american's are allowed to have garbages like american pie, scary movies as huge hits, so do hindi films. Not everybody want to watch a serious artistic movies, genres should be balanced.

i can accept a level of idiocy in comedy-slapstick movies, but housefull2 was so idiotic and over the top i wonder if the director even had a script...

well im sure everyone can agree that, NOBODY WANTs TO SEE GARBAGE MOVIES..
comedies dont need to be artistic to be hilarious ..and why take examples from hollywood? comedies such as the munnabhai series,3 idiots were amazing...thats called comedy...
theres the akshay comedy movies--tees maar khan,chandni chowk,and any recent movie of his ..which are just idiotic...
salman types are hit and misses--wanted was great ,but the rest like dabangg,bodyguard were over the top..
then theres the sloppy b-grade comedies that get released every 2 weeks...

What im trying to say is that in India,we dont need any more garbage slapstick movies...we have PLENTY of that...What we need are more intelligent comedies with some standard..

as you yourself said,genres should be balanced....In India, garbage comedy is leading...

lol and what does tysons tiger have to do with a tiger being in the bathroom? Why would tyson hide his tiger in a middle class people home? doesn't make sense. These idiotic films hailed as classics lol. TM, CC2C were not very entertaining, hence why it wasn't good commercially, Housefull 2 provides awesome entertainment with awesome dialogues, dialogues are the best thing about the film along with akki, mithun da.

anyways H2 is loved by the audience if this was not the case it won't have sustained so well on Monday n tuesday ;)

in short Sajid is one of the few directors whose all movies are hit .. now you can cry as loud as you can :D

Ok, so you didn't like the movie... Fair enough. But then you don't represent the whole movie watching audience, do you? It is absolutely fine to have an opinion, (just like an *beep* everyone has it), but it is equally IDIOTIC and insane when someone starts imposing his opinion on to others...

There are still SOME people who like to spend some quality time with their families by watching some funny movies... Charlie Chaplin is still one of the best showmen for some reasons, and his movies were full of scenes where people were jumping, falling down IDIOTICALLY (referring to snake scene in Hf2)... But we watch them and laugh... Wannabe Hollywood fans I guess??

Yes, I know Tyson had tiger had a wild animal as pet... So did some Indians (read Asin/Jacq) staying in London... Big Deal??

Dude, this movies never deserved such huge level of thinking process that you have put into it and boiled your blood for... But it did deserve laughter and that's what it got...

It was a NO-BRAINER comedy... All funny JOKES in this world are NO-BRAINER...

Go watch NAT-Geo and let IDIOTS watch these movies...

By the way, the movie is on its way to be a superhit with a strong repeat value and sustainability.... Go Beat That... :)

i didn impose any views nor did i say i represent the whole audience....i barely just replied back...and considering this is a place where you CAN DISCUSS about movies,i see no problem if i do...if u disagree with what i say,reply back...if not, say you agree/shut up and move on...this is how things work here...the servers for IMBD ,arnt gonna shut down because of some extra messages...

As for the pet part again...Asin/Jacq apparently got to keep abused circus animals in their homes (maybe for the time being) ...Now im not applying any high intellectual thinking here,but both dont look/act like idiots..Them keeping such animals in the front room is just stupid..

Saying this is the level of crap that deserves laughter ,is laughable....It brings the standard of Indian comedies down...

Intellectual like you should get the logic straight... That's because people are loving it.. and the collections are not stooping low. they are balanced. That means it has a repeat value.

Secondly... Comedies don't have any logic.. Comedies are motion pictures that celebrate fun, illogical mistakes, erratic behaviors, slapstick.. There is hardly any intelligent comedy... Delhi Belly wasn't intelligent either.

Adam Sandler is most based actor/producer in hollywood, but he is one of highest money generating one man armies in hollywood too..

You didn't enjoy this movie, may be because of a different taste, but let's face it. You are in a minority dude.

3Idiots was also cheap.... remember Balatkaar, Satan, etc? It's just the name AAMIR KHAN that makes it higher in standard... This is the hypocrisy of Indians that we are globally famous for.

Don't think too much, and just enjoy the small gags... Have illogical fun. ;)

Adam Sandler may have been once a big star with some great comedies,but he isnt one now...Not in terms of money,but just regard the movies hes now starring in..His every movie of recent times has been bashed and have got rotten reviews...And im a Sandler fan..Watched every movie of his,but even i agree his latest movies are completely duds...

Akshay is the Adam Sandler of Bollywood...

3Idiots was a laugh riot and i hate Aamir Khan...Loved Wanted ,but i hate Salman..Those movies were fun due to something called a script...I like movies with gags and skits,but just writing meaningless stuff and shooting it just for the sake of shooting doesnt make sense,and that seems to be Sajid's policy...

As for the whole imposing thing,i still maintain i didnt impose anything....but i suppose u should check the critics reviews for HF2....by the way,3Idiots & Delhi Belly have got great laughs & awesome reviews..

Today the weather in New Delhi is breezy, most of the people I have spoken to today like the weather, but just 30 mins back I met a guy who said "This weather is gloomy"...

Liking a movie, weather, mcnuggets are all subjective issues... differ from person to person.. Let's start living with others' opinions..

Had you said "I DIDN'T like the movie, I don't enjoy these kind of comedies"... People would have not asked for your further opinions and you wouldn't have wasted some precious minutes of your online life here.

houseful 1 supporter- that was cheap gay and double meaning sort of comedy.... that was garbage.... houseful 2 dnt haf tht muchh stuff... its a good movie
n its all khan supporters dogs who r barking at akshay bcoz from last 4 years he is the leading tax paying actor of bollywood (which only says how successful he is)
its a good movie n i will rate it 6.5/ 10 best acting is no doubt of akshay he make us laugh(n yes saajid script haf lot of loopholes here)

i also liked wanted ,3idiots,rang de basanti ,TZP etc too...10/10
if an actor has acted in a good movie i rate it likewise...
garbages like HF2,ready,bodyguard will always get a poor rating from my side...no bias
