Did Dan lose his job at the end?

When the agency head learns of the $1 recording, isn't his last words to Dan "Clean out your locker." Was he being facetious or did he mean it?

reply

I think he meant it as he had obviously put their whole business at risk however I don't think he was particularly upset about that as he found the business greedy and had discovered he could have more artistic freedom if he went out and did it on his own

reply

I agree with this.⬆🐭

It was a joke

It was a joke. I think it was Saul's own admission that, like it or not, the music industry was changing and just maybe Dan was onto something with the way Gretta's album was released. He needs Dan back, just for another perspective.

Thought it was a joke.

If it was a joke, nobody was laughing. I thought he fired him.

I like to watch movies when using the treadmill. Do not know if I would do it otherwise.

It wasn't a joke. They both knew what they were doing was going out on a ledge, that's why they were so nervy about it.

The whole point is that he is now gonna Begin Again - on his own with a newfound confidence - just like her.
