It's a little more complicated than that.
In 1961 Bill Naughton wrote a TV play called "Honeymoon Postponed",which then became (in 1963) a stage play called "All in Good Time".
In 1966 this was turned into a film called "The Family Way" with a screenplay by Bill Naughton.

I haven't seen this film(yet) but having seen the trailer I get the feeling tht it is basically Naughton's story but modernised and put into Asian family surroundings.I am seeing the film(Tues 22nd May) and I think it will work well transposed to the new setting.

All in Good Time (2012) the movie was based on a play at the RNT called Rafta Rafta (2007), which was modern/Asian adaptation of the stage play All In Good Time, which was based on a TV play called Honeymoon Postponed! EASY!! hehehe
