Wasn't a "disaster" after all.

I was finally able to see the movie on DVD. Before that, I gave it a look online, because I hadn't see it in theaters.
I must say, the world is kinda unfair with this film.
It's like they have used to Pixar's masterpieces, and when a film hasn't got a story that strong, they're only compaining and rate it very low.
Some of Pixar films that haven't got really high ratings are Cars 2 (which I personally think it quite deserved the low ratings, because it felt a little meh), Brave and even Monsters University!
The Good Dinosaur is also part of those films. But I don't see a reason.
Okay, it was a simple story. But the way Pixar told that story, it was great! There was also a great relationship between Arlo and Spot. I won't even mention the incredible animation.
It was such an enjoyable movie that got some low reviews because parents found it dark (hello, check the ratings fist) and there was a scene that was pretty unedded, and ruined the film a little.
I will give the film an 7 out of 10, mostly because of that one scene - if that scene wasn't there, I would rate it 8/10 or more.

I just watched it and I liked the movie. If parents are complaining about this they may want to sit the Jungle Book out. Are stop believing every Disney movie has a Frozen ending. They are called life lessons I've said before do you people not remember Bambi? Get a Grip!!!! Everyone is not going to be a fan.

I'm not sure what you mean, as The Good Dinosaur also has a happy ending and Frozen also has life lessons. If you mean there was no magic involved, that's true enough, but the actions and thoughts of the characters in both movies are nonetheless real.

In my experience, many people remember Bambi, and many of those people complain about it, too--even more so! 
