A mistitling of The Land Before Time. To answer the OP, I guess that I prefer The Land Before Time.

I was the target age for The Land Before Time when it was released, and I hated it. I felt like it pandered to me with overly cutesy kiddie voices that said insipid things like "yep yep yep!" And don't get me started on what an *beep* Sara[Cera?] was; I kept hopin a boulder would fall on her. Plus The Secret of Nimh had totally blown my mind, and Don Bluth movies afterwards never even came close.
Just watched The Good Dinosaur and I'll admit, I wasn't looking forward to spending a whole movie with Arlo, but he grew on me because he actually grew. The Good Dinosaur is so far beyond the bush league of The Land Before Time it's astonishing.
