TS4 has a 200 million production budget and a 150 million marketing budget(offset somewhat by partnerships) so it's breakeven point is around the 600 million mark. So, it's still got another 100 million before it breaks even. After it does THAT we can gauge just how successful it ultimately is. Domestically, it looks like it's going to fall quite short of TS3's 415 million. My guess is it ends up in the 330-40 million territory with international being the wild card.

I truly have no idea how you are incapable of learning from Past Trolling fails...

I mean were talking about Less than 2 MONTHS!

You tried this exact Trolling tactic Less than 2 Months ago with Aladdin and It went down in Burning Flames to where you literally had to admit YOU WERE 3 times before eventually RUNNING and avoiding the board...

lol seriously, first you made the troll thread claiming Aladdin was going to lose HUNDREDS of Million and Lose A "good Chuck" on EGs profit...

Then Aladdin opens Huge, You immediate concede, and move the goal posts to "well its not gonna flop but lets how much it makes with a 550 M break even point"

A Week Later You have to give UP...Admit you were wrong and leave the board in Shame While Aladdin marches toward 900 M+ and Hundreds of Millions in Profit....

I mean seriously, Less than 2 months ago you tried the exact same thing that your trying here now with TS4 and It failed as bad as anything could possibly fail....and here you are trying it again?

I would like to be mean and say something "Insulting" like...do you just enjoy being wrong and LOSING....but I cant because I actually know why you keep making the same mistake again and again....

You simply have no abilty to forecast what films are going to make....

lol, Here BOTH Aladdin and TS4 open Huge, You have the benefit of seeing what their open weekend were, and you still FAIL in YOUR 2nd attempt at trolling....

You literally couldnt see Aladdin was easily going to make more than 550 M, and now you cant see that TS4 is easily going to make more than 600 M......

Your so dumb and awful at box office, You truly cant even get it right with your 2nd trolling attempts where you intentionally try to set a New Numbers YOU DONT think the film will be able to hit....

seriously, 2 MONTHS......How can you NOT LEARN form what happened ONLY 2 months ago....You truly tried the exact same thing, IDENTICAL and it resulted in NOTHING but shame, embarrassment and failure.....

lolol

PS...

so it's breakeven point is around the 600 million mark. So, it's still got another 100 million before it breaks even. After it does THAT we can gauge just how successful it ultimately is.

^^^^

lol I love taking your exact statements and turning them on you....

watch this...

So based on your statement above, I guess can officially "Gauge" Shazam was NOT Successful right?

Because...Shazam exactly fits what you are saying here....

Shazam ONLY Met your Break even point....made nothing else...

If your suggesting TS4 needs to meet your "Break Even" point and Then we have to wait and see how much more it makes to determine if its a success or not....

Then congrats, You accidentally just PROVED Shazam is NOT A Success....because Shazam Made NOTHING MORE after hitting your break even point

lol Nothing Like Your Own Trolling Coming back to bite you Queen....

and nothing Like You trying to Troll on a Disney film and that accidentally instead Proves A WB film IS NOT A Success instead....

this is what makes you the worst troll I've ever come across, You Literally OWN YOURSELF....Your trolling is so awful...You accidentally cut your owe throat ....You Literally dont think at all about what you say when trolling and dont think how your trolling could be applied to films you like and defend....

just A Truly Epic fail here as usual

Poor Sony. Boo-Hoo. Maybe the profits from SM:FFH will help pay down bloated budget based on the disastrous minuscule Box Office of Men-In-Black:International. Shouldn't that be your narrative?

Where did the $200 Million amount come from? Just curious as I have only seen $160 Million. I did read somewhere the tremendous amount of money that Spider-Man continues to make with Tie-Ins for this movie alone. I think you might just be fudging the Production Budget to make a "Fake" point.

reply

Where have you seen 160 million as the budget?

I've yet to see that number but 200 million is all over the place.

I asked you first, and just post a reference or link. Easy peasey pretty pleasey. 😎

why on earth did you make this statement?

is really as simply as YOU are just that DUMB that you cant see TS4 is easily going to make over 600 M+

please try to explain how you thought it was a good IDEA to DELAY the inevitable....

I get that it KILLS you to admit a Disney film is a hit.....But This tactic your taking Is ONLY DELAYING Admitting it.....again....you tried the same thing Aladdin and You ONLY DELAYED admitted it was a huge hit....Your first tried to claim it was going to flop, Then once it opened huge, You tried this tactic, which ONLY DELAYED your FAILURE by a few weeks, You still ended up admitting you were wrong and be forced to HIDE and Avoid the Aladdin Board in SHAME

here, I get that you dont want to Admit Disney has yet another HUGE Hit with TS4....But The tactic your taking isnt actually Helping or avoiding that, Its ONLY DELAYING IT.....TS4 is easily going to breeze past your Break even point, TS4 is easily heading for HUNDREDS of Millions in Profit.....Your still going to take the walk of Shame, Your still going to have to admit Disney has another hit film and your still going to have to RUN and HIDE from the TS4 board....

I have no clue why your trying to DELAY it with these awful trolling tactic that FAIL ever time

Where is that $200 Million listed again?

reply

It has been a while and you have yet to provide a source for your $200 Million production budget that you claim is "all over the place". Care to provide a link or say you just made the number up?

Currently Aladdin sits at $183.00 Million.

I think it will have a respectable performance overall, not quite as good as earlier ones, but not a bomb either.

Were you right or wrong about TS4's domestic total?

Let me ask Raifiki from the 1st Lion King. He says, "Wrong AGAIN". And next time, "Look harrrrrrrrder". You still think it won't meet TS3's $415 Million domestic? Raifiki says, "You can learn from it, or run from it". "So what are you going to do"?

You honestly think that you share your penchant for being wrong "like most analysts? No, QueenFanUSA. Yes, analysts do get things wrong. Put your record of biased analysis would get your credentials, certificates, reputation, etc revoked.

Offering your brand of Box Office punditry is, I guess normal? Your intent on "Biased Analysis", which is your brand I believe, is abnormal.

The fact that you can type the words "TS4 has had surprisingly long legs is good as it is a fine film" is a sign that you are again being disingenuous by trying to sound naïve. A Disney family film, released in the summer, part of a franchise suddenly has "surprisingly long legs"??!!

You yourself as an analytical prediction said this:
[–] QueenFanUSA (2022) a month ago
It looks like a billion isn't going to happen but it still has lots of runway left(Universal/Illumination films have long legs) and many, many major markets left to open in.

That 154 million number is deceptive as this one is being rolled out slowly globally.
You typed that AS IF long legs was something unique to Illumination films exclusively and predictably.

You need to do better research to be a better Box Office analyst, and you need to be more objective. Drop the Disney bias. It is NOT serving you well.

congrats you just made it impossible for you to claim this film isnt a success...

TS4 is going to make over 800 M....and thanks to this statement Your TROLLING will be impossible....

PS again

can we officially conclude Shazam is not a success now?

since you have set the standard that Not only does a film have to hit its break even point that YOU SET, But we must also wait to see how MUCH MORE IT MAKES after to "Gauge" if its a success

then again using your OWN Standard that MEANS Shazam is 100% not a success right,.....considering it ONLY Hit your break even point and didnt make a cent more....

Queen....I know you are truly awful at trolling, But You really need to think before trolling....

Your hatred for Disney Controls you and it forces you to say such desperate and Absurd things, But in doing so you never think about how those things come back to bite you....

in this case, In an attempt for you not to admit TS4 is a success, You've desperately come up with a Standard or scale that completely DOOMED a film you like and defended in Shazam.....and whats worse is, This desperate scale you came up with to try and avoid admitting TS4 is not a hit....Is going to FAIL....

so astonishing, in your desperation, You set a scale that DOOMS Shazam(a film you like and defended) and ultimately the scale you set will eventually Prove the Disney film is a Success....

its almost beyond comprehension just how badly you failed here....

this is the stuff of Legends, this is what separates you from all other terrible trolls...You not only fail, But you fail MULTIPLE TIMES when others just fail once!

If TS4 drags it's sorry little film up to $901 Million wont that be closer to $1 Billion than $800 Million?

Is $901 Million all that it will take for you to deem it a qualified success or doing "Great"?

reply

^^^

Closer to 1 BILLION now 100% confirmed queen....

3 attempts at trolling failed here

1st attempt was---you made a thread predicting Disney would lose hundreds of millions on Aladdin, after It opened huge, you immediately conceded and Changed to....

2nd Attempt, which was "ok so what it opened huge, lets see how much profit it makes with a 600 Million break even Point", that went down in flames, which lead to

3rd Attempt, Forget that I said it was going to flop and lose hundreds of million, forget that I claimed it wouldnt make much profit with a 600 M break even point, ....Now.... "It has to be closer to 1 B than 800 M"....

and NOw Officially your 3rd attempt has Failed, With TS4 at 860 Million, Its now guaranteed to top 900 M+....making it WHAT DO YOU KNOW, closer to 1 BILLION that 800 M

just a picture perfect example of DIGGING yourself into a deeper hole and trying to move Goal posts only to CAUSE YOURSELF more harm...

you didnt want to admit it...Your hatred for Disney just wouldnt allow it, YOU TRIED and TIRED, YOU changed tactics, Moved The goal posts, but in the end all you did was DELAY the walk of shame, all you did was DELAY admitting TS4 is a monster hit....

3 different and Separate attempts at trolling...

3 times you tried and Intentionally attempted to set a New GOAL you felt was unreachable....and ALL 3 times you failed....

at least for 2019, A year in which Disney is having the greatest success in the history of Hollywood, Your trolling has literally resulted in NOTHING but shame, failure and embarrassment....

and TS4 is among your greatest and worst failures this year

How's that reference or link for SM:FFH and $200 Million production budget coming along?

Spider-Man:Into the Spider-Verse with a $90 Million (Ahem your standard) reasonable budget only did $375 and was quite lauded. yet I don't recall you commenting about the movie. Do you think the whole Miles Morales was a big Turn-Off for some? This Spider-Man is so far doing quite well in China while Spider-Verse only did ~$62 Million? What's going on with the China Box office and Marvel properties? Black Panther only did ~$106 Million in China. Curious.

If were talking "Queen's Standards'....There is no better example than Queen putting his foot in his mouth and ACCIDENTALLY proving Shazam Is NOT a Success based on His Standards...

While desperate trying to come up with a way to troll on TS4....

Queen Made up his OWN set of standards to Guage if the film was a success, Hilariously though Queen at no point actually thought about The Standard he was setting because when you Apply his "Standards" to A Film He likes and defends in Shazam, It Proves Shazam Is NOT A Success....

once TS4 opened huge, Queen had to get desperate and come up with some way to troll....

of course Queen went with his Usual "Break Even Point" tactic that Literally FAILS every time he tries...

Queen exact words or Standards he set for TS4 was...."Well The Break even point is 600 M, Lets wait and see HOW MUCH MORE it makes after that to "Gauge" if its a success or not"

This is truly priceless and Classic Queen Trolling, where he at no point thought before making this statement

A certain Film Called Shazam, Which Queen Spent months defending and claiming was coming in RED HOT ....Hilariously ONLY Met His "Break Even Point" and Literally did not make cent more

I mean, Its almost comical how Iconic Queens fail was here...

He Accidentally exactly set a standard that When Applied to Shazam PERFECTLY proves Shazam is not a success...

According to Queen, TS4 has to Meet His Break Even Point and Then Make a whole lot more to even start to "Guage" if its a success or not....

lol Meanwhile Shazam CRAWLED to Queen "Break Even Point" and DIED and never made another cent....therefor by QUEEN own standards he set while desperately trying to troll on TS4, Shazam can ONLY be considered NOT A SUCCESS.

This what what makes Queen The worst troll I've ever come across(and by Worst I dont mean Like Biggest) I actually mean like there has never been anyone as bad at trolling as Queen is....

Not ONLY does his trolling Always fail....But astonishingly somehow his trolling is so inept, he accidentally Makes fun of Films He likes while trying to troll on Disney....

A lot of Trolls fail....

Its not an exaggeration to say, I've never seen any troll Fail on The Scale Queen Fails

This is a perfect example....any other troll would have Just trolled on TS4 and simply failed with the movie being a huge hit....thats just 1 fail...

somehow Queen Managed to take a scenario where All other trolls would just fail once.....and somehow He managed to fail TWICE...Not ONLY will TS4 easily hit his 600 M Break even point and make Plenty more but embarrassingly, The Standard he set, DOOMS A film He likes and defended in Shazam...

It actually not easy to be this bad at trolling....

There are people who actually Intentionally Try to troll Badly....and They Literally cant do it this badly...

reply

It's doing okay for a 200 million production...definitely not "great".

^^^

do you care to take this statement back queen?

I understand why you made it at the time, as you are incapable of forecasting where a film is heading...

But now with TS4 heading toward a 900 M total gross...

I think you might consider taking this statement back, because lets be honest...if you dont...YOU basically DAMN almost every movie you've ever defended....

If You stick with 900 M is ONLY "Okay" on a 200 M Production production for TS4....

Then man how can you ever claim Ready Player One is anything but a disaster?

Or BvS is anything but A BOMB

Or Suicide Squad is anything but a fail?

Or Godzilla 1 or 2?

how bout Fantastic Beast 1 or 2?

Justice League?

all of these Films had budgets between 170 to 200 Million + and MADE Less than TS4 and in some cases HUNDREDS of millions less than TS4...

again, Your complete inability to forecast where TS4 was heading explains why you made the statement When TS4 first came out...

but now that TS4 is heading toward 900 M....

It seems like its in your BEST interest to just take the walk of shame, take back this statement back and admit TS4 is doing great...

because if you dont, You DOOM many films you defended....

and you set a standard that Any film going forward that YOU want to defend, Has to make around 900 M if it has a 200 M Budget for you just to claim Its doing "Okay"...

lol all in all ....Classic Queen Trolling coming back to bite you...like usual

It's funny, just for laughs I looked at the list of the top 25 grossing films of all time WW and only one of them is a good movie imho. Just show's how tastes have changed and how the animation and MCU movies are the money makers in today's age.

Two things struck me.
Half are less than 5 years old. Probably China and developing nations boosting sales.
Two thirds are super-hero (I'm include Potter and Jedi). Rest is kids, dinos, Furious.

I just checked out boxofficemojo's "adjusted gross" list and I'd say most of the top 50 are actually good movies. And honestly, adjusted gross is probably the best way to look at movie profits. Shows how successful movies like The Ten Commandments and The Exorcist really were back in their day.

reply

Yes and No. Those films and the film industry had very little competition for your entertainment dollars back then. Going to the Movie Theater when you didn't have "Air Conditioning" at home was like IMAX today. It was an extra inducement for an event film or ANY film, dare I say.

Good point, I know when I was in Honolulu ten years ago a lot of the locals would go to the movies in the hot summer(June until early Nov when the trade winds start back up). Many residences don't have A/C as Hawaii has the highest electricity rates in the U.S.
July through October can be brutal!
