factoring in last night's 12 million preview.

This is coming in at the lower end of expectations, quite frankly. I have to say that I've been warning people about this result for the last week leading up to last night's opening.

Disney has to be pissed at sites like Deadline plastering headlines out there predicting a potential 200 million start a couple of weeks ago.

Ouch.

You have to tip your hat to Disney's rivals for pushing this narrative and setting the bar higher than this film could ever hope to achieve.

Aren't you the same guy who claimed Captain marvel would not beat Wonder Woman in domestic box office? Aren't you also the same one who said Batman V Superman would break all kinds of records and would give Marvel a run for their money?

In short these predictions of yours are getting annoying. I do not have a dog in the fight but it has become clear you have an agenda against Disney for whatever reason. Why is box office such a thing for you? You never answered my question.

Go ahead...it better start stepping up it's sales big time to hit that!

Variety's 140 million call looks more realistic to me.

Could go even lower than that. We'll get a better indication how it's going in a couple of hours I'd think.

...aaaannnnd no sooner had I said that Deadline HAS gone even lower than Variety with only 136 million this weekend.

TS4 is playing in over 4,500 theaters this weekend so it should pass 150 million easily.

Not according to Variety and Deadline.

It doesn't matter how many screens it's playing on if people don't want to see it. It's just more empty seats than there would have been if it was playing on fewer screens.

Ok guys it's getting worse Boxofficeguru tweeted out that it's heading to only 130 million.
