How in the world are they going to make this sadder than 3?
The ending to Toy Story 3 really punched me in the gut emotionally. I have no idea how they can top it, other than to kill off Woody and/or Buzz.

shareI think you may of just answered your own question.
shareWhy should it be sadder? TS3 is the worst one for me. This series doesn't feel right being overly 'sad' or adding death. That's too much realism that just feels forced.
shareThe second one is still the most poignant for me.
The whole 'When She Loved Me' sequence breaks my heart every time.
That was a very poignant moment very beautifully written and animated, but for me anyway, Andy saying goodbye to Woody was worse. Basically the same situation, but we weren't as heavily invested in Jesse as we were with Woody.
shareThey will make it full SJW. That's gonna make it even sadder than 3. Not sad for the same reasons, but sadder nonetheless.
(And I'm not kidding, Lassetter has been taken down. And he was the soul of Pixar)
Yes...Lasseter was a genius and I hated see him go but I am intrigued by Pete Doctor and what the studio will create under his leadership.
shareIt won't be the same. Lassetter was not only a great director. He was a great team leader and a visionary.
Once he's gone, he's gone. Pixar is done, same as Apple when Jobs died. Disney is killing its assets real quick.
I agree that Lasseter was a real one-off but let's give Doctor a chance at least before we write the studio off.
shareLet's hope. But guys like Lassetter are very rare. Not to say Docter won't have a fraction of the power Lassetter had.
Old Pixar, Lassetter was the boss. This one, guys in suits will be the ones in command. You just have to see how they've entered the 'sequels' pattern. That policy sure has Disney headquarters behind.
Oh God another millennial crybaby ..🙄🙄🙄....I hope they do 5 just to piss your generation off more.
shareIt's funny how so many people don't know that Millennial actually means people who grew up in the 80s or 90s who became adults around or a little after 2000. Generation Z is actually those who are teenagers right now.
