Daniel Brühl should have been nominated an Oscar!

His anger and depression, I honestly felt that in him. He gives an excellent performance and his character made me to feel good.

Agreed! Outstanding performance and film overall.

This was an underrated film.

One of the best sports movies ever, and you didn't have to be a racing fan to enjoy the rivalry between the two star drivers.

reply

Agreed. Just like Ford v Ferrari.

Yes, he should have!

😎

reply

Absolutely.

He made feel, understand, and root for the character. I didn't even think of him as acting anymore, it almost felt like a docudrama, which is not an easy feat to overcome.

Excellent directing and pacing also helped make his performance shine even more.

He was certainly robbed of an Oscar for his performance in Rush.

He was wonderful. It's not often an actor gets to play a character who's brilliant and eccentric, and who can calculate the physics of a car's motion and judge the functioning of all its moving parts through his ass! Bruhl obviously enjoyed every minute of the role, and he was a blast to watch!

I also want to give praise to writer Peter Morgan, who gave Bruhl the character who can calculate physics with his ass.

True and I would have nominated Chris Hemsworth too. Definitely showed the charm and magnetism of James Hunt plus pretty good English accent.

Both actors deserved to be nominated and sadly non of them was.

reply

Rush is such a good movie and wish it would have gotten some Oscar love.
