Thoughts on the show

If the finale was a final ending, the show was very well made.

To me the way I look at it, I would have surprised them all by supporting the cuts and having him volunteer to quit as one of them and then go to New York but the way it was done was also good. If this creates a trend in TV of focused and short stories this will be an excellent development. Too many shows go way too long.

I really admire how Hank's character realizes what's important. I also liked how Julie and Russell resolved their parts in the story without having it wrapped up in a little bow with some lovey-dovey makeup.
