It lacked just one scene

At the end, the funeral started playing. I liked that. Good song. He's writing her a letter with a small smile on his face, Neil Armstrong returns to earth. High point of the movie for me. I'm waiting, as the drums build up the tension, for that moment - just a five-second scene, no dialogue, keep the music going, as he comes through the doors at the airport and she's running towards him and jumps up in a bone-crushing hug. The end.

I'm all for semi-open endings, just not for this genre. In romance and fantasy I want and expect to know exactly what happened.

I understand your point & wanted more myself but... What more could you ask for truly as and ending in this movie it would just be too too 'soapy'
